Interesting Facts
Egyptian cultures made a practice of burying a Lapis Lazuli scarab with their dead, and believed it to offer protection.  The very earliest cultures valued Lapis Lazuli more highly than gold.  Greeks spoke of an ancient sapphire which was included with gold, and this was unmistakably Lapis. Some believed that dreaming of Lapis would foretell love that would be forever faithful. It is included around the eyes of King Tut's mask.
The ancient Egyptians used Lapis Lazuli as a symbol of truth.

My personal experience/ thought on Lapis Lazuli
I find Lapis to be one of the most powerful and beautiful stones. Very calming, yet strong. The blue in some of them is the most beautiful strong blue.

Sara de Vos.  My love for crystals originated on a silent retreat next to the Orange River in 2002, where I picked up these very interesting stones (probably agates) I had no names for them but just knew they were pretty, they became my allies, I would hold them and look at them. I have been trading in Crystals since 2007 and since learned much more about crystals. I belong to the local Gem Society and "I Dig Rocks" in other words" I am a RockHound, and for all you other Rockhounds out there - you know the addiction! The Obsession! Well what more can I say, I will share with you various stone properties and also some on me and Connie's Crystal Stories.
